On the afternoon of February 24th, School of International Education of CSWC and the Student Affairs Department held a meeting for international student counselors to discuss the start of the new semester. Vice Dean of the Student Affairs Department, Du Ying and Ye Chunlin, as well as Student Affairs Management Teacher, Liao Tianli, and 15 international student administrative class counselors attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean of School of International Education, Gong Lijun.
During the meeting, Ye Chunlin emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in dormitory management and service quality. He also pointed out that the management and service of school apartments could be improved through the management of international student dormitories. Du Ying praised the work of the counselors and read out the "Work Items for International Student Administrative Class Counselors," emphasizing the need to focus on caring, supporting, and helping students, and to achieve the standardization, personalization, and convergence of international student management and service work.
During the discussion phase of the meeting, the counselors from each schools raised questions and concerns about their work. Relevant departments responded to these issues one by one and proposed solutions and suggestions. Gong Lijun also emphasized the importance of detailed planning and implementation of the work for the return of students to campus, ensuring that students and their families feel at ease.
