On September 19th, 2022, School International Education held an online seminar on career planning and design for international freshmen.

The seminar aimed to help the 2022 international freshmen understand the importance of career planning, learn the theories and methods of career planning and design, and motivate themselves to explore their potential and enhance their learning abilities. The seminar was titled "Creating Your College Life by Planning Your Career" and was presented by Mr. Chao Xin, the Director of the Innovation and Career Development Research Center and a global career planning consultant of the college. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Gong Lijun, the Deputy Dean of School of International Education . The event was attended by the international student counselor, Liao Tianli, all the 2022 international freshmen, and some international students from the classes of 2020 and 2021.

This career planning seminar was one of the tailored new student education courses offered by School of International Education . The school plans to conduct a series of orientation and educational activities for international freshmen in the future.
