To guide international students studying at home during the epidemic period to actively focus on physical and mental health, learn psychological adjustment and self-empowerment, School of International Education and the Psychological Development Guidance Center of the school jointly held the "Online Group Psychological Counseling for International Students" activity on May 31st. The activity was chaired by Gong Lijun, the Vice Dean of the International Education College, and Ding Ling, a teacher from the Psychological Development Guidance Center, served as the main speaker. Our international students gathered in the cloud to participate in this activity.
This activity is one of the series of activities for the School's Mental Health Education Month. The school has always attached great importance to the mental health education of international students studying at home during the epidemic period, and has established a platform for psychological education and assistance for international students, helping them to actively cope with their learning and life during the epidemic period with a positive and optimistic psychological state. The International Education College, secondary colleges, and the School Psychological Development Guidance Center and other departments have formed a linkage mechanism to timely pay attention to the learning and mental health of international students and carry out online and offline humanistic care activities. In the future, the International Education College will also launch various forms of psychological counseling activities to safeguard the mental health of international students.
