Recently, School of International Education organized three academic progress meetings for international students of different levels and Chinese language learners. The meetings were conducted online and aimed to summarize the mid-term academic progress and discuss study-related issues. Vice Dean Yang Shuai, international student counselors Liao Tianli and Tan Xiaoxi, and all international students attended the online meetings.

The series of meetings are focused on both common and individual issues of different types of international students. The college provided targeted guidance and encouragement to help international students feel the rigorous academic atmosphere and fine management of the college, and also to feel the attention and support of the school. Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, the college will continue to actively engage with international students, isolate the virus, but not the communication; block the epidemic, but not the warmth. And the school will continue to offer online teaching and virtual activities across time and space.
