"The water of the Xiang River, the wind of the southern land"... A beautiful singing accompanied by the melodious sound of the piano emanated from the rehearsal room of the school choir. On September 27th, Teacher Zhou, the instructor of the college student art troupe of ChangshaSocial WorkCollege of Civil Affairs, gave an online music class to international students studying abroad. The class was titled "Poetry, Music, and Elegance - Our School Song."

This online live class is a new attempt by School of International Education to teach international students about China's national conditions. The school has included education on China's national conditions for international students in its talent cultivation plan. Based on the "Reference Framework for Teaching Chinese Culture and National Conditions" developed by the Center for China Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the school has developed the course of"Reading China" and created rich course resources. The course fully integrates the process of education with "seeing with one's own eyes, hearing with one's own ears, and experiencing firsthand," allowing international students studying in China to deeply experience and perceive the multi-dimensional beauty of China.
