Author: Date:2022-10-11

"To gain a deeper understanding of the work and life situations of our school's first group of graduates sent abroad for employment and to further promote school-enterprise cooperation with Guangzhou SUNDA International Trading Co Ltd..(hereinafter referred to as "SUNDA International"), the International Exchange Office and the School of Electronic and Information Engineering held an online symposium with six graduates working in Chinese-funded enterprises in Africa on the afternoon of October 11, 2022. Li Bin, theChair of College Committee, attended the symposium, and Zu Guojian, the Dean of the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, presided over it.

At the symposium, Zu Guojian first introduced the general situation of the students going to Africa. In late August to early September of this year, six outstanding graduates from the School of Electronic and Information Engineering were selected and employed by SUNDA International, and were sent to overseas factories in Kenya, Senegal, and Ghana to engage in technology-related work related to automation and electromechanical integration, and to serve as intern production team leaders in various base factories.

The students who were far away overseas felt very close to the leaders, teachers, and classmates of theirAlmamater through the video connection, and felt the advice, reminders, blessings, and expectations from their teachers. The entire symposium was warm, relaxed, and interesting.
