On March 22nd,School ofInternational Educationof Changsha Social Work College held a special online video conference on epidemic prevention and control for international students.
To solve the problem of inconvenient attendance recording for overseas students,School ofInternational Education designed a health check-in app for overseas students and foreign teachers, which accurately records the current epidemic situation of each overseas student and the current health status of themselves and their family members. Through WeChat, Zoom video conferences and other forms, the International Education College dynamically and in real-time informs international students and foreign teachers about epidemic prevention and control requirements, and distributes multilingual epidemic prevention and control guidelines. The college focuses on disinfecting dormitories, distributing epidemic prevention materials, and managing the living quarters of international students to provide 24-hour medical services.
To ensure the quality of online teaching for international students, the college has formulated an implementation plan for managing online teaching of international students. School of International Education has partnered with the Academic Support Center to provide peer mentors for each student to ensure that students have a continuous learning experience, receive support for academic difficulties, and teachers fulfill their teaching responsibilities with guaranteed teaching quality.
