On December 6, 2021, ChangshaSocial WorkCollegeorganized a thematic exchange meeting for Laosstudents to discuss the opening of the China-Laos railway.

At the meeting, the teachers and students first watched the news video of the opening of the China-Laos railway on December 3. The leaders of the two countries jointly attended the opening ceremony of the China-Laos railway through a video.

Finally, the teacher fromSchool ofInternational Educationsummed up at the exchange meeting that the China-Laos railway is a path of development, as well as a cultural and friendship path. It is hoped that students can learn from three aspects: first, to understand the opening of the China-Laos railway as a significant event, and broaden their horizons; second, to think about their relationship with the China-Laos railway opening and how their personal growth can be integrated into the development of the times; and third, to seize the great opportunity of the development of the times, make good personal academic and career plans, and make use of the "Study inChangsha Social WorkCollege" platform tolearnand achieve.

This exchange meeting is one of the series of social practices and cultural experiences under the "ReadingChina" theme of the project to improve the quality of education for international students in ChangshaSocial WorkCollege.The school actively serves the "Belt and Road" construction and has carried out comprehensive, multi-level, and wide-ranging cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sports of Laos in the field of vocational education.
